Phew, it’s been a while since the last post, a hangover-rich weekend filled with a company BBQ and highschool reunion was the mian cause (starting to feel my age), but the work-week is here again so here we go.

Now this may be a bit of a boring post for some of you, as it deals with a subject that most people seem to hate, despite it being at the foundation of our society, that is, math. This is a youtube video lecture, somewhat dramatically claiming that the single greatest shortcoming of the human race is our inability to understand exponential growth. Now may be overdoing it a bit, but it is fairly important to understand in my opinion, the talk may be a bit dry at times, but the math really isn’t that hard and he does a good job keeping it simple and using plenty of real life examples from news headlines etc.
